  1. Just a reminder - and a nudge - if you haven't seen the great selection of handmade persian rugs at the store, you're in for quite a treat! We are receiving new and antique rugs nearly everyday!

Most importantly, our Rug Room Staff works hard to help you find the right rug for your home! If you have never visited our store or the Rug Room, you're in for quite a treat. And, right now, MANY of our BEST consignors are responding to the market and are pricing rugs up to 75% off retail prices! Stop by - you will not be disappointed.

  2. Hi Kate!
Great web site! I like to keep in touch even tho we are now SC residents. Miss all the Wednesday Morning Crew. Please give my regards and hugs to all. If you have time I would love to hear what's happening. Expect to be in Sarasota in November. Looking forward to seeing everyone then. Carol O'Keefe

  3. Just found you guys! What a great store. Ron and Frank were great helping us find a dining set and sofa. Your danish modern selection is like new! I couldn't pull my wife away from the jewelry counter either. Anyway, thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back! Ray

  4. Whoa! My wife and I stopped by last week and were totally disappointed with the "junk" they are now selling! What happened? High prices, no more mid-century modern teak furniture, a shrunken jewelry department and little to choose from! It looks like they are now going to be a ladies clothing store. We were told there is new management in place and to write a letter to the board of directors. Not worth the trouble. We'll stick to the Missing Piece in Tampa - pricey, but at least they listen to their customers and provide a great selection of items.

  5. I have been trying to find somewhere to express my disappointment with this place. It used to be friendly and always had really neat stuff. Now the workers seem preoccupied with everything but helping customers. And I agree with the last post, the quality of the merchandise is terrible and the selection worse. What happened to the Womens Exchange in the last few months? They are really going down hill! It's a real shame.

They seem to be pushing ladies clothes but the selection does not compare with other shops in town like Laura Jeans, Designer Consignor and others. Save your time and money - just go to yard sales and buy direct instead of wasting gas on this place.

  6. I've found that its hit or miss anywhere you go antiquing. This is still my favorite store by far. They know how to pick and price their goods! Often summer is slow and the quality might be lower than during season. There are fewer buyers and also fewer sellers during the summer. Thanks Womans Exchange for keeping up a good 'picking' shop!
